As I was searching the iPhone app store for apps to simplify blogging from my phone, my attention quickly went toward what kind of horror movie related
apps were available. There were a lot of trivia and game apps related to horror, but there were also full length public domain horror movie apps. They offered all of the best PD horror films that were already in my DVD collection. The full length movie app seemed interesting, but I wasn’t willing to pay .99 cents to find out. Then I found the classic Night of the Living Dead free from ZooVision. If you want George Romero’s first zombie film on your iPhone with out using a ton of memory, then this is the app for you. The app includes wall paper for uploading and limited information about NotLD. The main feature of the app is the full version of NotLD with extremely fast buffering time. Sure the NotLD app doesn’t offer much, but it’s free.
On the Root Rot scale of (A+) being the best and (E) the worst, the free NotLD iPhone app gets an (A)… Hey, it’s free.
very nice man! im always looking for things on my favorite film NOTLD! i will def. DL that for the slow days at work. i am also looking forward to posting some reviews of some “lost cult classics” here on the witch’s hat! thanks a ton for the invite, & looking forward to be a part of “the legends” blogpage.
