Movie Review of Porno Holocaust (1981)

Review by: Root Rot

About two years ago while talking with Corey Graham, I expressed interest in the cannibal film  ”Porno Holocaust”, as I had recently read the book Eaten Alive.  Last week during Cinema Wasteland, Mr. Graham so kindly brought with him a copy of this film for me to view. Thanks again Corey!!!

Porno Holocaust (1981)

Directed  by: Joe D’Amato

Language: Italian

Plot: A group of scientist are instructed to investigate  strange events that have been occurring on a deserted island. However, before the team embarks upon their assignment, they partake in a lot of sex…I mean hardcore full penetration fucking. After a lot of fucking, hand jobs, blow jobs, lesbian sex and threesomes, the scientist arrive on the island to learn it was previously used for nuclear testing……and then they have more sex. The female members are then raped by what appears to be a monster, cannibal or both, with a penis the size of a baby’s arm. The well endowed monster concludes the film by killing all the scientist..End..

Porno Holocaust is straight up porn and not an Italian cannibal flick; the only sub-genre of horror this film could possibly be linked to is exploitation. The gore scenes were upstaged by horse cocked natives, and close up camera shots of a saggy balled penis penetrating a horribly manicured vagina…..I think it was a vagina; whatever it was it gave Billy Gibbons a run for his money.

On a side note I would like to thank Corey for waiting two years to surprise me with this movie, thus igniting my fascination with pubic regions that resemble small woodland creatures.

On the Root Rot scale of (A+) being the best and (E) the worst, the 1981 Porno Holocaust gets a (D-).
