Hi, this is Keels8.  For those of you that read the earlier review regarding the Android HTC Aria, you may remember me as the girl who got screwed out of getting her new phone by the selfish technology junkie. As  it turned out, I only had to endure my broken iPhone 3G for a couple extra days; I’m officially upgraded to the iPhone 4.

I’m not gonna lie, I too was enticed by the shinier, newer toy. I could have replaced my phone much sooner had I not bought into all the iPhone hype…..So, was it just hype or was it worth the wait??

Totally worth the wait!

I’m  just your average cell phone user; I can figure out what I need to, but my desire to explore the phone’s full capabilities is lacking. So, while I can’t provide a comprehensive, jargon filled report on the phone’s full potential, I can share with you, in layman’s terms, why I love my new phone.

For the most part I  use my phone in leu of a computer, making the iPhone 4′s increased speed a huge advantage. There’s a significant improvement in connection speed, browsing speed and downloading speed. To elaborate, I’m about to show you just how technology retarded I am….. I think, or I should say I’m guessing,  the increased speed is a result of the iPhones operating system (ios4), right?  If I just gave shitty info, sorry.

Aside from speed, I’ve also noticed a few other improvements that may, or may not be a result of the new operating system; I suppose you could look it up if you really want to know. When viewing a full website on the iPhone 4, the site is not distorted as it was the 3G.In addition, the text and pictures are resized for optimal viewing results. The Phone’s resolution is amazing, which probably has nothing to do with the OS, but whatever. Probably the most convenient update is the multitasking feature….awesome. By simply double clicking the home button, you can switch from one application to another, keeping them all opened for quick access.

Due to the upgraded camera features, I now use my phone as my main camera. The iPhone 4 has a 5 megapixel camera; noticeably better resolution. The iPhone finally offers a camera with a flash, which by the way can double as a flashlight. Further, the iPhone 4 includes a HD video recorder. The Video camera is easier than others, while the quality  is excellent.The camera also includes a feature that gives you the option to use your camera with the picture view  facing you…..More simply put,  it’s like looking into a mirror. So, bonus, easily accessible mirror and flashlight….. Who knew?

In conclusion, the iPhone 4′s increased speed, viewing capabilities, multitasking feature and superior camera made this purchase well worth the wait. While I’m sure the iPhone 4 has an array of upgraded features that I have yet to, and probably will never discover, the features that I have discovered officially legitimize all the iPhone 4 hype.

And to Sir Rotten Root, my phone is way better than yours. I guess that’s what you get for being a selfish technology junky….. And being a douche bag in the AT&T store. Muah!
